The questions reception hears most
Yes, at least every six months. Your health changes and so do medication guidelines, so we review the dose, check it's still the right medicine for you, and keep your record accurate. A short consultation is usually all it takes.
A referral is a clinical letter, not a form. It needs to carry current, correct information so your specialist or allied health provider can care for you properly. We'll see you briefly, make sure the referral is the right one, and send it through.
You'll see our practice nurse first for a short health summary covering your history, medications, immunisations and any screening you're due for. Then you'll see the doctor with the full picture already in front of them.
Your doctor reviews every result. Reception will contact you if you need to come back in; if you'd simply like to know, book a short consultation or a telehealth appointment and we'll talk you through them.
We're a private mixed-billing practice, so most consultations have a gap. Some services are bulk billed: the four-year-old Healthy Kids Check, health checks for eligible groups, and children under 16 on Saturdays. Our fees page lists everything.
Call the after-hours GP service on 13 74 25 when we're closed. For anything urgent, such as chest pain, breathing difficulty or serious injury, call 000 or go straight to the nearest emergency department.
Travelling in the next few months?
Come in 4-6 weeks before you fly. Some courses run over three or six months, and we're accredited to give the yellow fever vaccine. Tell reception where you're headed when you book.
